A lawsuit has been filed against Jimmy Urine, a musician who is 51 years old and was the frontman for the electropunk band Mindless Self Indulgence. The alleged offence is the sexual battery on a minor.
Urine, whose real name is James Euringer, is accused of beginning a sexual relationship with a minor who was 15 years old when the relationship began, in January 1997, when Urine was 27 years old. The alleged victim was the daughter of Urine’s manager.
It is asserted that Euringer was fully aware that the woman he was having a connection with was a minor at the time that they started dating. It is speculated that he purchased a bogus identification card for her so that she could purchase alcoholic beverages and attend gigs put on by his band.
According to Pitchfork’s confirmation, the case was submitted to the highest court in the state of New York on Monday. However, the complainant cannot be named because she was under the age of 18 when the alleged crime took place.
Euringer is accused of treating the woman “as though she was his girlfriend and the two were in a consensual relationship,” according to the lawsuit that was filed against him. Nevertheless, it adds that he also allegedly tried to keep the relationship hidden by requiring the accuser to refrain from any public displays of affection whenever they were together. This is said to have occurred whenever they were together.
The Following Is a List of Alleged Sexual Assaults and Their Associated Details.

In the lawsuit, it is said that Urine sexually groomed the accuser and “manipulated her into believing that his sexually assaultive behaviour was not unlawful and that by engaging in sexual activities with him, she was actually helping to safeguard younger girls from sexual attacks.”
According to the continuation of the lawsuit, “During this period, the musician acted as and treated Plaintiff as though she was his girlfriend and the two were in a consensual relationship.” It is said that Urine took pictures of her naked and coerced her during sexual actions to “act like a young child and suck her thumb, slobber, and pee in her pants.”
Even though he “tried to hide their relationship by telling her not to act affectionately with him while in public,” according to Rolling Stone, he “provided her with a fake ID to attend concerts and drink alcohol with him.” He allegedly did this despite the fact that he “tried to hide their relationship.”
According to the lawsuit, the bandleader of Mindless Self Indulgence allegedly knew her age because he allegedly wrote her a birthday message on the occasion of her 15th birthday.
Alongside Joseph Galus, the complaint names Warner Music Group, its former parent firm Warner Communications, and Elektra Records as co-defendants. Galus is also named as the group’s former manager and producer.

Beginning with The Year 1999’s Tight, the Band Released a Total of Five Albums.
Across the course of five studio albums, beginning with 1999’s Tight, the band has created a portion of their identity based, in part, on their use of shocking techniques. In 1996, the band put an ad in the newspaper searching for a drummer. In the ad, they stated that they were looking for someone who wouldn’t mind playing for a paedophile band.
The cover art for the album Tight has an illustration that is a detailed close-up of what appears to be the undergarments of a young girl. The lyrics of the song “Panty Shot,” which was written by Euringer, discuss how life becomes significant when a young girl of five years old spreads her legs. The narrator of the song adds that they “didn’t touch her,” but they romanticised the gesture nonetheless.
Controversy Regarding Mindless Self-Indulgence

According to the allegations made in the lawsuit, he was detained and charged with indecent exposure in the state of Michigan in 1999 after flashing his penis on stage at another event. In addition to this, it is alleged that Euringer took naked photographs of the complainant. During sexual meetings, it is said that he instructed her to “act like a young child” by sucking her thumb, drooling, and peeing in her pants, as stated in the lawsuit against him.

Everyone Named as A Defendant in The Legal Action
In the legal action brought against Euringer, all of the defendants include Warner Music Group, the previous parent company of WMG known as Warner Communications LLC, and Elektra Entertainment Group, which was mindless Self Indulgence’s record label until 2002.
In the complaint, Elektra and Galus are both accused of negligence as well as facilitating Euringer’s misbehaviour by knowing about it but doing nothing to stop it. Euringer is the defendant in this case.
Additionally, an Elektra A&R executive who worked closely with the band claims to have witnessed Euringer frequently stroking and kissing the girl during recording sessions and other excursions. This is something that Elektra A&R executive who worked closely with the band also claims to have seen. According to the lawsuit, Galus and Elektra were aware of the alleged misbehaviour committed by Euringer. This is said to have occurred while they were together.
According to the case, the Plaintiff and other individuals may have been safeguarded by the defendants’ awareness, relationship with, and control of Euringer, as well as his concerts, music, and at times his access to children; nevertheless, they were not. Because of this, the plaintiff has been forced to endure a lifetime of shame, intimidation, and humiliation throughout their entire lives.
