Since using a transphobic slur, English YouTuber Olajide Olayinka Williams “JJ” Olatunji, also known as KSI, has made waves. Fans have been criticizing KSI on social media for using a transphobic slur and misgendering someone in one of his videos with the YouTube group The Sidemen. The YouTuber hasn’t apologized for the same, though.
On August 27, KSI was scheduled to compete against rising star boxer Alex Wassabi in a pay-per-view match. But Wassabi was obliged to find a new opponent after it was claimed that he had a concussion.
The strategy behind KSI’s comeback to boxing after a three-year hiatus seems straightforward: shake off the dust and prepare for a big fight with Jake.
He also had plenty of rivals who were willing to help him welcome KSI back to the squared circle.

What Was Said by Ksi?
The controversy began in March 2021 when a member of Twitter wrote: “KSI is transphobic.”
How am I transphobic? the YouTuber, real name Olajide “JJ” Olatunji, immediately responded. I honestly can’t be expected to believe that you, an adult man, didn’t realize tr**** is a slur and accidentally labelled a trans man a girl, the user replied.
The Sidemen, KSI’s YouTube group with over 12 million subscribers, used the slur in one of their videos. Many additional users accused KSI of using derogatory language and misgendering after he responded to the tweet.
What Did Ksi Apologize For?

In his initial tweet in response to the criticism, KSI asked: “Hold up, people truly think I’m transphobic?” When followers replied to the message in agreement with the YouTuber, KSI apologized, which only infuriated his supporters. He included the term in his now-deleted initial apology, which read: “My bad for uttering tr**** and other transgender slurs. Honestly, I had no idea they were offensive. But I now understand. Man is self-educating, hehe.
He removed the message and apologized once more after one of his followers pointed out that he had used the slur once more. He apologized for his remarks toward transgender people. Honestly, I had no idea they were offensive. But now I’m aware.
Later, Ksi Exhorted His Supporters to Embrace “positivity.”
He wrote: “2021, only good vibes. Must put an end to the hate, guy. on every side. including those who are behind me.
Life is too brief to harbor resentment and hatred for other people. We can only move forward by being positive. KSI said, “F*** Jake Paul though,” as he couldn’t help but make one last jab at his longtime foe.
Ksi Has Previously Found Itself in Hot Trouble.
